Are You Ready for the End Times?

The End Times as described in the Book of Revelation are upon us.

Over the years, many of us have made an effort to save for retirement by maximizing RRSP contributions or investing in the stock market. We dream of the moment when all our hard work comes to fruition and we finally get to enjoy life a little. Whether it be spending the winters in a warmer climate or playing golf to our heart's content, we prepare for this time with anticipation. But how many of you have also invested in what comes next?

Very rarely has the average person given any thought to the afterlife. If you ask anyone if they've invested time and effort into earning a place in heaven, I'm quite certain most would stand there and stare at you blankly. Now more than ever, it is imperative that we take this seriously because the signs of the times are upon us, and we don't want to be left behind.

Daily, the mainstream media bombards us with headlines. For the most part, we hear what is happening in the world, but do you comprehend its importance?

• The war involving Ukraine / Russia / NATO and the USA.

• The rumors of war between China and Taiwan.

• The deadly earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.

• North Korea has the largest storage of biological weapons in the world.

• The presence of spy balloons invading our airspace.

• A train derailment caused an enormous environmental disaster.

• Severe weather and extensive flooding worldwide.

• Drought and water shortages.

• Twitter executives being brought before congress for tampering with free speech.

• Forest fires raging out of control in many parts of the world.

• The rise of Mega Churches that preach wealth, prosperity, and happiness.

• Corruption within governments, organizations, and churches.

• The continued loss of life from Covid and other diseases.

• The adverse events/ injuries occurring as a result of vaccination.

• Growing concern over food shortages.

• The fear of Economic Collapse and Digital ID.

• The rise of the World Economic Forum.

• The escalation of the flaring and CMEs on the sun caused by Solar Cycle 25. (Solar Maximum)

• Scientists warning of upcoming Pole Shift whereby the earth tilts forty-five degrees causing a global catastrophe.

• The presence of asteroids streaking through the night skies.

• Waves of energy rolling in from distant universes affecting our planet.

• The elites flocking to buy doomsday bunkers worth millions of dollars.

• The proposed two-state solution poised to divide the land of Israel.

• Putin suspends nuclear arms treaty.

When you read this list, what comes to mind? For a precious few, they see such things as:

Matthew 24 : 6 - You will hear of wars and rumors of wars.

Mark 13 : 8 - Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places and, there will be famines and troubles. These are the beginning of sorrows.

Isaiah 10 - Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees to deprive the poor of their rights and withhold justice."

Mark 13 : 25 - The stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.

Romans 16 : 17 - Now I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who create divisions and obstacles that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Turn away from them.

Joel 3 : 2 - I will also gather all nations, And bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; And I will enter into judgment with them there On account of My people, My heritage Israel, Whom they have scattered among the nations; They have also divided up My land.

Revelation 6: 12-17 - 12 I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. 13 And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind. 14 Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. 15 And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave, and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, 16 and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! 17 For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”

Sound familiar? If not, you aren't among those who immerse in God's word and Biblical Prophesy. In order to understand what is happening in the world around you and truly see it for what it is, you need to be granted the gift of discernment that comes with studying the Bible.

Revelation 1 states - Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophesy and blessed are those who hear it and take it to heart what is written in it because the time is near...

Proverbs 2 : 3-5 - Yes, if you cry out for discernment and lift up your voice for understanding - if you seek it as silver, and search for it as for hidden treasures, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.

Upon reading the Book of Revelation and the books that coincide with it, many begin to see a clear roadmap of what is to come. God has prophesied that it will happen. Don't be fooled into thinking it won't. Those who take the scriptures to heart will understand where we are in God's timeline, and they will be prepared to move on, almost waiting with anticipation for the second coming of Jesus. Then and only then will we rest in a place where we are loved unconditionally - a place where pain and suffering do not exist. It is where we are granted an eternity with our Father and Creator.

Is this something your heart longs for?

It is said that our life here on earth is a grain of sand on the beach. The rest of the sand represents eternity. This describes the importance of your preparation. Time here is short. We must maximize it.

In life, we are given a series of tests. Most are unaware they exist, but the faithful know that God is always watching.

Did you pray for those flying overhead in an air ambulance helicopter? Even prayed for the responders when you hear the sound of sirens in the distance? Or prayed for those living through natural disasters while you are safe and comforted in your peaceful home?

Have you taken your life for granted?

How did you handle a difficult situation? With anger and resentment, or caring and understanding?

When entering a building, did you stop to hold the door for the person behind you, or just walk in as it closes behind you?

Have you taken the time to check in on a friend going through difficult times? Did you lend a listening ear for them to vent?

Every morning and every evening, do you marvel at the sunrise and sunset painted for you? Each is different. Never the same. They mark the beginning and end of each day. Each is a gift given to you every day of your life.

Have you knelt beside your bed at night to stop and pray for others and thank God for the gifts he has given you that day?

If God was standing beside you, day in and day out would you do things differently?
